  • What is ADHD Coaching?
ADHD Coaching combines traditional coaching with knowledge and awareness of ADHD and/or executive functioning deficits to provide specialised strategies and techniques to help you overcome challenges and achieve your goals. This could mean spending additional time addressing obstacles related to time management, learning more about how ADHD impacts your life, or figuring out how to adapt your environment to best support you.
  • I don't have a diagnosis - can I still work with you?
Absolutely! Whether you are awaiting assessment or simply resonate with this style of coaching, you do not need an ADHD diagnosis to work with me.
  • Is ADHD coaching the same as therapy?
Where therapy focuses more on past experiences and emotions, coaching is action-based and focused on the present and future. Some people may find it helpful to attend coaching and therapy concurrently, but this can be challenging in some circumstances. If you are unsure if coaching is right for you, please feel free to reach out via the contact page or book a discovery call to find out more.
  • I'm interested - what's the first step?
Book a free 30-minute discovery session below so you can ask questions, discuss your goals, and see if coaching is the right fit for you. I look forward to speaking with you!
  • How does payment work?
First sessions are billed separately; thereafter, sessions are billed monthly (2-4 sessions per invoice). Payment is due within one week.
  • Can I do a one-off session?
Coaching is like learning an instrument or going to the gym - you won't see results overnight! Throughout your coaching journey, you will learn and grow in ways that you may not anticipate, and it isn't always linear. A minimum of three months is recommended so you have the opportunity to observe and reflect upon the impacts of your coaching action steps and learning. However, individual sessions and short programmes are available to returning clients upon request and subject to conditions.
  • Do you offer a sliding payment scale?
A small number of sliding payment scale appointments are reserved for self-funding individuals. If you are interested in coaching but the cost is prohibitive, please get in touch via the contact page so we can discuss availability and options.
  • How can I use Access to Work to fund coaching?
ADHD UK provides a comprehensive guide on how to apply for Access to Work and what the process entails. If you believe you would benefit from coaching to support you in the workplace, you can discuss this during the interview/assessment. If your case manager agrees you would benefit from coaching, they will provide quotes in your report. The quotes are guidelines for how much you can spend on a service or aid, and you can request a different provider. The case manager will review the request and approve or deny it depending on the provider and cost. If your request to use your funding with Saoirse Kelly Coaching is approved, payments are made via your business (if self-employed) or your workplace contact (e.g., HR representative) and later claimed back.
  • Do you accept Access to Work grants?
Yes, I accept Access to Work payments for clients with approved grants. More information can be found here.
